If your attendees are blues audiences, just drag out all your blues CD s, and let the attendees grab that microphone, and sing right along!

If karaoke as gathering music does not appeal to you, think about engaging a deejay or a band, so you won’t have to leave your attendees to change CD s, or worse yet, have attendees attempting to change the music themselves.
